Agriculture remains one of the strongest pillars of Ghana’s economy, contributing significantly to employment, food security, and national development. In response to this, Thyvoice Ministries has established the Agriculture Initiative as a strategic intervention to empower individuals, reduce poverty, and promote sustainable community growth.

The initiative is designed to equip youth and families with practical agricultural skills and resources, enabling them to engage in productive and income-generating farming activities. By shifting the perception of agriculture from subsistence to agribusiness, the programme seeks to create long-term economic opportunities and self-reliance.

Objectives
  • To provide hands-on training in modern and sustainable farming practices
  • To empower youth and families with skills for agribusiness and entrepreneurship
  • To improve food production and enhance food security within communities
  • To reduce unemployment and poverty through agricultural engagement
  • To promote environmentally sustainable farming methods
Key Activities
  • Training workshops in crop production, animal husbandry, and agribusiness
  • Practical field demonstrations and mentorship programmes
  • Distribution of farming inputs (tools, seeds, seedlings)
  • Continuous technical support and monitoring
  • Community-based farming projects

  • Increased participation of youth and families in agriculture
  • Improved agricultural productivity and food supply
  • Creation of sustainable income sources for beneficiaries
